Nueces County Precinct Four Constable Robert ‘Bobby’ Sherwood, Deputy Dave Moats and Deputy Shay Williams were all greatly affected by Hurricane Harvey’s destruction. They lost their homes, vehicles and most of their possessions in the historic, devastating storm that made landfall in Port Aransas, Texas. The Precinct Four office is located at 705 West Ave A in Port Aransas, Texas and it, along with almost every other building and business there was decimated.

CHIEF (@texashabanero on Twitter or Badges of Blue Heroes on Facebook) is an advocate for law enforcement on the internet and also works closely with the Blue Lives Matter organization. Earlier this week CHIEF announced that Warrior 12 Apparel was also contributing a percentage of their proceeds from the sale of their limited edition “Texas Crusader” T-shirt that was created specifically to help raise money for Hurricane Harvey victims in Texas. Warrior 12 followed the campaign to help Constable Sherwood, Deputy Moats, and Deputy Williams and made the decision to donate the proceeds to these law enforcement families. CHIEF also has received so much outstanding help from another law enforcement advocate and supporter who is also affiliated with Blue Lives Matter. That would be @coverwife1 on Twitter. If you support Blue, give her a follow!

CHIEF has coordinated a benefit fund through OfficerDown.US to go directly to these three law enforcement families who have had their lives turned upside down and are living in temporary FEMA provided housing.
