Chicago Police Department Arrested Muggers That Assaulted An 80-Year-Old Woman

CHICAGO, IL – Chicago Police Department arrested muggers responsible for assaulting an 80-year-old woman walking in the Lincoln Park subdivision.

Yesterday I published an article┬ádetailing the despicable robbery by two thugs that pushed an 80-year-old woman to the ground before then running away with her purse. What these vermin didn’t realize was they were captured on video and the Chicago Police Department blew up a beautiful still photograph of them fleeing, one clutching the purse belonging to the 80-year-old victim. Police then posted the photograph on Facebook and Twitter asking for the public’s help in identifying the thugs.

Friday morning the Chicago Police Department posted an update on their Facebook with the same photograph that now had the word “BUSTED” in bright red letters written across the front of the photograph depicting the fleeing thugs.

The Facebook post read, “Thank you to all those that have sent tips to our hotline. These two subjects were brought to Area North Detectives after their family members viewed a surveillance image of the suspects that was issued to the media and posted on social media.

A huge thank you is in order for the family members who fingered the two thugs as being the fleeing vermin.

I love it when an investigation comes together with a happy ending. Great job, Chicago Police Department!
